也許是因為我們在海專浪費了許多時間，也許是因為海專的文化給我們一股好勇鬥狠的衝勁，很多海專人在畢業以後，讀起書、做起事來都像是發狂似的，也因此能出人頭地。英國樂團 Pink Floyd 在 Darkside of the Moon 這張超有名的專輯裡有首歌叫 Time 很精確的捕捉了我離開海專以後的心態

Camille這位法國才女型的歌手, 父親是音樂家、母親是教師。高中畢業後就進入法國著名的亨利四世中學文科預備班,
之後錄取於曾經造就五名法國總統的巴黎政治大學。在菁英的環境中成長的她, 在音樂上有極傑出的表現。

很早她就已經是Nouvelle Vague(新浪潮)樂團的女主唱之一。這個法國Nouvelle Vague音樂團體的特色是將英國七○年代的New wave歌曲
改編為Bassa Nova風格重新翻唱, 在2004年推出首張同名專輯後在歐美大受好評, 而Camille當時一個人就負責了整張專輯四首歌曲。

Le fil這張專輯推出後, Camille的音樂可以說是法國優質電台France Inter, FIP等最高播放率的當代法語創作歌曲。

在美國混的太久，看不懂法國的東西，感覺好怪

看完MV會有一種被壓制而將要窒息卻又死不了的感覺
是一種新的東西，音樂風格也好，拍攝手法也好...
不再是法式情歌那種慵懶浪漫

《Fourplay》

爵士四人行這樣的組合，某個角度來講，其實見證了美國唱片工業之兵強馬壯，實力堅強；
同時，也說明了為什麼美國的非古典音樂界，為什麼多半都能夠達成很高的製作素質。

美國的唱片工業之成熟甚至於說可愛之處也在這裡，這幾位在圈內廣受信賴尊敬的重量級錄音室樂手，
儘管平時的工作常是為人作嫁，完成伴奏的任務，但是當他們覺得該為自己留下作品而以個人名義發行專輯，進
而幾個人組織了樂團從事創作，唱片公司也樂觀其成，提供了相當堅強的支持。

假設原本對爵士四人行樂團並不熟悉，但是我們從網路上去搜尋這個樂團的相關資料，把他們前後五位成員的名字一字排開：
鍵盤手 / 鮑伯‧詹姆斯（Bob James）、貝斯手 / 納森‧伊斯特（Nathan East）、吉他手 / 拉瑞‧卡爾頓（Larry Carlton）、
鼓手 / 哈維‧梅森（Harvey Mason），加上已經離團，不在此次來台陣容中的前任吉他手李萊特納（Lee Ritenour），

如果你並不是特別喜愛Smooth Jazz風格，或許對這些名字僅止於稍稍有個耳聞。
不過，如果對1970、80年代以來的流行、搖滾、爵士、藍調、R&B的音樂有些興趣，幾乎可以保證，你絕對會很驚訝的發現，
其實，早就聽過這些人的演出。

爵士四人行的團員，都是所謂的「錄音室樂手」，一身精湛的樂器技巧，長時間在唱片工業中擔負要角，
應製作人、歌手、唱片公司之請擔任伴奏，甚至可以說他們是「內行人的樂手

Fourplay這個由四位大師級的當代爵士樂手所組成的樂團：

擔任鍵盤樂手的Bob James擁有深厚的古典樂底子，因此出自他指下的每一個音符，都經過精雕細琢的仔細忖度。

而有「金手指」之稱的Lee Ritenour，更被許多的Fusion吉他樂手視做精神宗師。

Nathan East的貝斯聲線鋪陳出舒暖暢快的進行動向，不似一般搖滾樂團的張牙舞爪，卻仍維繫著樂曲脈動的生命力。

擔任鼓手的Harvey Mason，則以充滿開創性的精神為樂團所創造的音樂搭建出多樣骨架。

四位當今情調爵士樂壇的巨星所組成的樂團，當然是空前的夢幻組合。
