It's really a blizzard! You are lucky to have 2 sons to help you out, esp. you worked like
a dog before Christmas. Hope you had good rest in the holidays. Comparing with other
seasonal scenes, I think the addition of snow on the earth is the most beautiful. It reminded
me the winter of Kyoto. Though Kyoto's spring with cherry blossom is beautiful, the winter scene with the
touch of the snow makes Kyoto so Kyoto with its bleak, aged beauty. It also reminds me of
my trip to Wu Cheng in China last Christmas. Though it's freezing cold to ache my fingers, the
snowing scenes are so beautiful and peaceful! I could not stop but continued exposing my camera
and my fingers under the showering snow. Not to mention my trip to the Antarctica. We ran into
several cold fronts with flying flakes into our face. It was very painful for sure!
I believe you get used to snowing weather and scene. From your message, every first snow seems to still delight your
heart to appreciate its arrival, though with conflicting emotion. It makes the warmth inside the home or even
the car so precious, isn't it?
Enjoy the beautiful winter with peace and joy!
